We are keen to hear from people at the start of the careers who want to learn from an expert team about how the media works, how to use social media to create an impact and who want to develop strong communication skills. Working closely with the Digital Communications Manager and Media team, you will help IMIX to deliver its core aims of working through traditional and digital media to create a better narrative about people who make their home in the UK.
You will have excellent written and editorial skills, a basic understanding of how the UK media works and some experience of using social media. You will also need to be sensitive to respond to complex stories and work well with a wide range of people.
Our small, dynamic team is high-impact and this will be a role which will expand your knowledge and set you on a great footing for a future career in communications.
We are particularly keen on hearing from people with lived experience of migration.
This is paid role with an initial six month contract.
